Shrine of Osman Gazi

Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, lived between 1258-1324. During the siege of Bursa, Osmangazi was buried in the tomb built on the chapel of the Byzantine Monastery named Sainte Elie, known as "Gümüşlü Kümbet" after the conquest of Bursa upon his will.
